As Managing Director for the Corporate segment at Thomson Reuters, Joe Harpaz drives the strategy and oversees the business operations for the U.S. and global corporate tax solutions – ONESOURCE Income Tax-US, ONESOURCE Indirect Tax, ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Trust, ONESOURCE Transfer Pricing, ONESOURCE WorkFlow Manager and ONESOURCE Firm Edition.
Mr. Harpaz has wide-ranging business and leadership experience in the tax and accounting industry — from technology architecture and development to sales and marketing to business line responsibility. Over his tenure at Thomson Reuters, Mr. Harpaz has held several senior management positions such as vice president, Office of the President and vice president & general manager of ONESOURCE global tax technology – where he helped define the global strategy for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.
Before joining Thomson Reuters, Mr. Harpaz co-founded Immediatech, where he was behind the design of the GoFileRoom solution, now the platform for ONESOURCE WorkFlow Manager. He earned a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters in Finance from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.
Honored by the CPA Technology Advisor, Mr. Harpaz was included in the “40 under 40” Top Young Professionals list for 2008, 2010, and 2011. Mr. Harpaz blogs for Forbes.com and has been published in many trade magazines.
