Kelvin Adkins-Heljeson

Kelvin Adkins-Heljeson works as a North American Tax Research Manager for Thomson Reuters in Portland, Oregon focusing on multi-state indirect and business taxation issues. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar Taxation Section and has served on both the Tax Section Laws Committee and the Young Tax Lawyers section. He is also a member of the Multnomah Bar Association and served as a Chair of the Service to the Public/YouthFilm committee. Kelvin, born in Lawrence, Kansas, is a graduate of the University of Kansas where he graduated Phi Alpha Theta with a Bachelors of Arts in History. He attended Lewis & Clark Law School located in Portland, Oregon, serving as an associate editor of the Animal Law Review. At Lewis & Clark he also was awarded the National Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award for his work at the Lewis & Clark Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. He received his LL.M. in 2012 from the Graduate Program in Taxation of the University of Washington School of Law located in Seattle, Washington.
