GRM Users Awarded at 2012 GRM User Groups Conference

Outstanding ProVal User – Andrew Lyons, Gwinnett County, GA

This year’s Outstanding ProVal User has been using the ProVal and Aumentum applications for less than 2 years. In this relatively short time, this user has mastered a new application and participated in a major Aumentum upgrade. Right from the start, he posed well thought out questions, provided detailed analysis of issues and contributed to process improvement.

Outstanding customCAMA User -Chris Weiss, Hillsborough County, FL

This year’s outstanding customCAMA user is the Special Projects Coordinator in one of Florida’s largest jurisdictions. He continues to lead with his knowledge of the customCAMA application and has tirelessly contributed to clarifying new Florida legislative laws and how to implement them within the customCAMA product. He is a great resource for Thomson Reuters and other clients and is always willing to assist.

Outstanding Tax User – Steve Holthaus, Stearns County, MN

The award winner for Outstanding Tax User is not only knowledgeable, but he works hard to ensure all MN counties are successful. His detailed feedback continues to be instrumental in moving Aumentum Tax forward for MN.

We are pleased to present the Outstanding Tax User award to Steve Holthaus from Stearns County, Minnesota.

Outstanding Recorder Jurisdiction – Pierce County, WA

This county is a wonderful example of combining a great management team, dedicated staff, and Thomson Reuters technology to provide the public with outstanding customer service. With a strong involvement in national groups such as PRIA and IACREOT, as well as the local Advisory Council and PREP Chapter, Pierce County has earned the honor of being named Outstanding Recorder for 2011.

This year’s outstanding Recorder award goes to Pierce County Washington and is being accepted by Chief Deputy, Lori Augino

Outstanding Project Manager – Gina Taitano, Guam

The winner of this year’s Outstanding Project Manager award has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to lead the project stakeholders and multiple vendors and teams to the finish line.

The challenges encountered along the way were many, but this individual was able to always keep an eye on creating solutions. She also demonstrated a willingness to put in extra hours when needed and ensure that Thomson Reuters received the resources and assistance necessary to finish this project.

For all these reasons, we are pleased to present Gina Taitano from Guam this year’s Outstanding Project Manager award.

Outstanding IT Department – Charleston, South Carolina

This jurisdiction’s IT department has exhibited great dedication to their county. This is evident in their timely responsiveness, knowledge of their environment, and systems they support. Their hard work has been key to the County meeting critical deadlines.

Outstanding Jurisdiction – Sedgwick County, KS

This jurisdiction has shown tireless dedication in order to leverage all the benefits of Aumentum Tax which continues to be a key factor in their success. Their management team works to engages their entire staff in their UAT process and their feedback is detailed and timely.
