You’ll find a new consolidated broker statements input screen in 2016 UltraTax CS®. Use Screen Broker, located in the Income folder, to enter Form 1099-INT, 1099-OID, 1099-DIV and 1099-B information.
The data you enter on this screen is reported on Schedule B, Schedule D, Form 1116, Form 8949 and Form 6781, as applicable. You should not enter information in this screen that you’ve entered elsewhere. The 2016 information you enter in Screen Broker will proforma to future years.
The UltraTax CS Source Data Entry utility enables you to quickly enter consolidated broker statement data on facsimile versions of forms your clients submit to you. You can then import the data into UltraTax CS and use the data sharing feature to transfer the data into your client data files.
