    Steve Lindsey, Director – Product Management, leads the design and development efforts of the Thomson Reuters online and desktop audit and assurance products. He has worked for Thomson Reuters for over 30 years, first as an editor and author of audit and accounting guidance. He later led the development of the Thomson Reuters audit software product line, including Checkpoint Tools, SMART Practice Aids, and Checkpoint Engage.

    Steve is a CPA and has been active in the accounting profession for over 40 years. He began his career in public practice working with KPMG and a small, local firm in Fort Worth, Texas. The hands-on experience he gained providing audit, accounting, and tax services to clients ranging from small businesses to multinational companies gives him a unique understanding of the challenges CPAs and their clients face today.

    Executive Director – Audit Innovation

    Scott Spradling, Executive Director – Audit Innovation with Thomson Reuters. His professional passion is working with our teams to help audit firms apply progressive technologies in practical ways and allow auditors to do faster, better, and more fun work. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Scott was an auditor with KPMG. He has over 30 years of experience in the profession and has also worked as a strategic consultant to audit technology providers.

    Bill D. Carrera, CPA, is a Sales Coach for Thomson Reuters. He has over eight years of experience providing onsite and web-based software training and consulting to firms implementing a variety of software. Before joining Thomson Reuters, Bill spent 17 years in public accounting, primarily providing attest services to a wide variety of clients in various industries. Bill has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas since 2002.
