Delaware County will be the first county in Ohio to migrate to the Thomson Reuters Government Revenue Management (Aumentum) platform.

Beavercreek, Ohio December 6, 2012 – To better serve residents and taxpayers with the most modern technology solutions available, Delaware County will upgrade to the Aumentum platform from Thomson Reuters. Both the Auditor’s office and Treasurer’s office will utilize the new platform.

Delaware County currently uses the Thomson Reuters government tax platform, MVP. When the migration to Aumentum is complete, Delaware County will be the first county in Ohio to move to this updated technology.

The Aumentum suite will provide a web-based solution for automating the entire property valuation and tax administration functions for Delaware County. The enterprise platform will ensure accuracy and continuity while streamlining business processes across county offices.

A move to Aumentum ensures that the county continues to move forward with the latest technologies available for county government in Ohio. With the Aumentum platform, the county will continue to comply with State requirements, simplify current business processes and eliminate redundancy.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to upgrade to Aumentum,” said George Kaitsa, Delaware County Auditor. “The new Aumentum platform will help our offices to be more productive so that we can better serve the residents and taxpayers of Delaware County. We are very excited to be on the leading edge in terms of using the new Aumentum platform in Ohio. We’ve worked closely with this Division of Thomson Reuters for years, and we’re confident in their ability to deliver a solution that best meets our needs.”

“Thomson Reuters deep knowledge of the Ohio tax environment and our understanding of the legacy MVP products allow us to provide the most successful and seamless transition possible,” said Bill McKinzie, senior vice president and managing director of the government segment for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “We’re happy to be expanding on this long standing relationship with the county. With the installation of Aumentum, we can help enhance public service by enhancing the delivery of information to the taxpayers of Delaware County.”
