FROM THE DESK OF TOM WALSH
The busy summer months are winding down and we at Thomson Reuters are on the cusp of a new season – one of opportunity and change. And one of these opportunities is to introduce a new brand name – one that reflects our renewed focus on our customers. I’m excited to announce that our government revenue management (Aumentum®) suite of products is now Thomson Reuters Aumentum.
Change is good. And this change brings our business the opportunity to focus even more than ever on what matters most: our customers. You’re invited to experience Aumentum and to allow us to tell a new story – yours. We will continue our mission to provide leading-edge technology solutions and industry expertise for governments that enable excellence through simplified processes, increased efficiencies and enhanced services to the public. Through Aumentum, we pledge to meet the ever changing needs of our clients – and ultimately help you as you develop your communities.
To our customers, I have met many of you and look forward to meeting all of you, so as to better understand how we can support you in the best way possible. Thomson Reuters has not only continued to invest, but has increased, our investment in the development of our products including the addition of people to support this effort. We are also focused on our internal processes so that you can be certain of our ability to stand behind Aumentum and to enable excellence through expertise, technology and people – to help you govern more transparently, efficiently, and equitably. Our sustained and growing investment marks a good time to support a brand change.
Watch with me as our company and new brand advance over the coming months and years and I look forward to working with each of you as we chart our path forward together.

THOMSON REUTERS PARTICIPATES IN ESRI USER CONFERENCE IN SAN DIEGO
A select team of individuals from Thomson Reuters attended and participated in the annual Esri User Conference which was held in San Diego, CA on July 8-12. Thomson Reuters has been working on prototype extension to the Aumentum suite in order to provide our clients a spatially-enabled valuation and tax system that improves efficiency and illustrates the power of location in government decision making. Thomson Reuters Chris Buscaglia presented this prototype along with Esri staff during the ArcGIS for Land Records Technical Workshop.
On Wednesday, July 10th, Thomson Reuters sponsored the successful standing room only Land Records Special Interest Group meeting and had the opportunity to present once again to many individuals in our industry.
