Located in Northwest Indiana, 35 miles north of Lafayette, White County has a population of about 26,000 and contains approximately 22,000 parcels.
Primarily a farming community, the County is currently developing over 150 acres of land that will contain wind turbines generating power for many residents throughout the region. This would be the largest wind farm in the country.
Thomson Reuters has been serving the White County Assessor’s office in a variety of ways since 2002. That year, the County took on both a new appraisal software installation and a county-wide reassessment project, both provided by Thomson Reuters. White County continues to be a hapy Thomson Reuters CAMA customer today
