Indianapolis, INDIANA, December 11, 2014 – Thomson Reuters CAMA (ProVal) and Tax (MVP Tax) software systems have been certified by the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF), in accordance with the legislative requirements for property tax and assessment software. These standards were established under the 50 IAC 26 directive which defines new standards for a common property management system for the state of Indiana.

The Indiana state certification process so far has covered 44 testing scenarios, 34 in Phase I and an additional 10 in Phase II, many of which had multiple subcategories encompassing Indiana property assessment and legislative requirements, including for business processes and prescribed forms.

Currently, there are 58 Counties in Indiana using ProVal or MVP Tax who will be impacted by these new standards.

In Indiana, per the 50 IAC 26 requirements, all software vendors must be certified prior to the January 2015 deadline and the commencement of Phase III activities. Thomson Reuters is also the first software vendor in Indiana to have achieved Phase II certification under this round of testing for integrated CAMA and Tax and Billing solutions.
