NEW YORK, June 23, 2015 – The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has been named the winner of two 2015 American Business Awards, also known as Stevie Awards, for marketing excellence.

The Taxologist campaign received a gold award in the category of Branded Content Campaign of the Year, while Tobias Lee, chief marketing officer for the Tax & Accounting business, received a silver award for Marketing Executive of the Year.

“We are very excited to be recognized for these awards, which exemplify the tireless efforts of the Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting business to help clients excel in today’s competitive environment,” said Lee. “Our focus has always been to transcend conventional marketing using cutting-edge practices to spur excellence in the industry.”

The Taxologist campaign champions ONESOURCE customers who excel in the use of technology to maximize tax function effectiveness. It is the first campaign of its kind to help recognize and empower an emerging breed of tax professionals in the fast-changing tax environment.

Lee has created multiple award-winning customer experience functions, buyer personas and customer journey mappings within the business, ultimately bridging customer communication gaps. Under the direction of Lee, the Taxologist campaign has garnered numerous awards for highlighting the value of implementing tax technology solutions.

Thomson Reuters Checkpoint has also been nominated for two awards in the New Product & Services – content category which will be announced in San Francisco in September.

The Stevie Awards were created to recognize the achievements and contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. The awards are conferred in six programs: The American Business Awards (ABA), the German Stevie Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, and the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards. The ABA Awards were presented at the 13th Annual American Business Awards banquet in Chicago.
