Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
If you need to cancel your registration, you may process that directly via the website. To view the refund policy, please go to registration, select the Fees & Policies tab and then click on the Details link next to the conference fee and registration date that apply to you. No refund is provided if you registered after September 30, 2018.
If you have registered for the conference and are unable to attend, you may substitute another person from your company. The original registered attendee must submit a written cancellation request, including their substitute's first name, last name and email address to email@example.com or call 703.738.9146.
How do I book a hotel room?
The room block will be available in late January. Check back at that time for hotel details.
Is the hotel or travel fee included in the conference price?
No, the hotel and travel fee are separate from the price of the SYNERGY conference.

Where can I find an agenda for the event?
The SYNERGY agenda is available under the Agenda tab on the registration section of the website.
How can I follow up on ideas and conversations from SYNERGY?
Thomson Reuters offers a private, online Tax Community for customers only. Within Community is a subject for "SYNERGY for Corporations," with several sub-topics and various subjects for ONESOURCE and Checkpoint.
How do I download the SYNERGY conference app?
You’ll receive an email with specific instructions for downloading the app in late October.
Can I bring a guest, spouse or children?
Your adult guests (over 21) are welcome to join us for the following selection of evening events and meals:
- Welcome Reception: $175
- Exhibitor Reception: $100
- Entertainment Evening: $200
Guest selection includes food, beverage and entertainment for selected meals and/or events. It does not include access to general and breakout sessions. Guests are responsible for their hotel accommodations, air and ground transportation, other meals and optional activities.
All registered guests must wear a conference guest pass to be admitted to events in the guest program.
What is the recommended attire for the event?
The dress code for the event is business casual. We recommend you bring additional attire if you plan to explore the city. The Tuesday Night Event is casual.
What should I bring?
We recommend you bring what you would normally pack for a business trip. However, we encourage you to bring extra chargers for electronic devices, any printed materials you may want for sessions (SYNERGY sessions will be paper-free) and extra business cards.

Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting Corporate Software & Services is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
All complaints should be submitted to Tonya Clark, Director, ONESOURCE University for resolution. Complaints regarding content or delivery of sessions will be reviewed by SYNERGY staff and Product Management. All other complaints will be reviewed by SYNERGY staff and ONESOURCE University management. Corrections made will follow the standards that are stated in the National Association of the State Boards of Accountancy's (NASBA) CPE administration policies. All interested parties: CPA, State Board, etc. are then notified of the resolution.
