Sandra Wiley

Sandra Wiley, President of Boomer Consulting, Inc., is ranked by Accounting Today as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Accounting,” as a result of her prominent role as an industry expert on human resources and training, as well as her influence as a management and strategic planning consultant. Sandra developed the P3™ Leadership Academy and hosts regional trainings around the country. She is also a founding member of The CPA Consultant’s Alliance.

Sandra is a certified Kolbe™ trainer who advises firms on building balanced teams, managing employee conflict and hiring staff. Sandra’s Kolbe A™ Index reveals her to be a visionary leader who is gifted with the ability to tackle challenges. She works with a sense of adventure, and relies upon her creativity and inspiration to cut through complexity and devise timely solutions.

Sandra directs Boomer Consulting, Inc.’s annual Talent Development Advantage and offers her services as co-director of the P3 Leadership Academy Program, as well as the CEO Advantage. She has been in the Strategic Coach Entrepreneurial Team Program™ for over 10 years and is responsible for communicating its concepts to clients and the Boomer staff.

Sandra is also a popular author who is frequently published by many trade journals, including CPA Practice Management Report, Accounting Today and Accounting Web.

Prior to joining Boomer, Sandra worked for more than 16 years in the financial services industry in the areas of human resources, marketing/sales, training and business development. She has developed and presented over 50 training programs and numerous one-day seminars in human resources and marketing/sales.

Sandra is a graduate of Friends University, in Wichita, Kansas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She also graduated with honors from the University of Colorado School of Bank Marketing.

Dustin Hostetler

Dustin Hostetler, Chief Innovation Officer, Shareholder and Lean Six Sigma Consultant, is a pioneer in applying the Lean and Six Sigma concepts to public accounting firms. He has led more than 200 lean projects in more than 100 firms, and over 36 of those firms are in the top 100 CPA firms in the country. As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with extensive experience working inside a large regional CPA firm, he has taken proven lean techniques and tailored them to bring groundbreaking value to public accounting firms. His innovation and passion has brought true efficiency to accounting — helping accounting firms improve client service, improve client retention, set the foundation for growth and build the bottom line.

Dustin has led the implementation of lean, strategic planning and financial analysis in organizations of all sizes and across a variety of industries. Dustin also facilitates dozens of trainings each year in the lean and six sigma principles, notably CPE workshops for public accounting firms, as well as the industry-leading Lean Six Sigma CPA Green Belt certification program in conjunction with The Ohio State University.

Dustin holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude, and earned both his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt certifications from Kent State University. Dustin is also a member of the CPA Consultants’ Alliance, a working group of thought leaders united in their efforts to further leadership within the CPA profession.

Judi L. Dent

Judi L. Dent has been a Senior Technical Consultant with Thomson Reuters since 1998. In this role, she specializes in consulting for the adoption of auditing tools, practice management and document management. Judi works with tax and accounting clients to provide all aspects of facilitation, training and consulting.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Judi worked for 16 years in a diverse range of organizations, including training and closing services to clients. Judi has a strong training background, having spent 12 years as a trainer, which taught her the importance of participant-centered learning.

Drawing on many years’ experience in delivering solutions and training, Judi focuses on consulting. Her varied background in client interactions provides the perfect foundation for training and consulting.

In 2009, she earned the American Society of Training and Development Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential. Other certifications include CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer + Classroom Trainer. Judi has also provided pro bono nonprofit assistance to organizations in the areas of finance and accounting.

Judi holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
