Work paper preparation 

1040SCAN processes documents to eliminate binder assembly and data entry. It extracts data from source documents using optical character recognition (OCR), verifies  data for accuracy, and organizes tax workpapers into a standardized index.

Data review 

1040SCAN routes the exported data and standardized index into SPbinder, which generates lead sheets displaying color-coded variances between the binder data and the software’s calculations. Once the data is edited and finalized, it takes one click to export it back to your tax software.
