Document gathering
TaxCaddy works with CCH Axcess Tax to make document gathering easy, referencing proforma data from your tax software to automatically generate document request lists (DRLs) for each client. Instead of assembling DRLs one at a time, your staff can create and send them in bulk.
Work paper preparation
1040SCAN processes documents to eliminate binder assembly and data entry. It then extracts data from source documents with optical character recognition, exports the verified data to CCH Axcess Tax, and automatically bookmarks and organizes tax workpapers into a standardized index.
Data review
1040SCAN routes the exported data and standardized index to SPbinder, which generates lead sheets displaying color-coded variances between the binder data and the software’s calculations. Once the data is edited and finalized, it takes one click to export it back to CCH Axcess Tax.
