1040SCAN processes documents to eliminate binder assembly and data entry. It then extracts data from source documents with optical character recognition, exports the verified data to Lacerte, and automatically bookmarks and organizes tax workpapers into a standardized index.

Data review 

1040SCAN routes the exported data and standardized index to SPbinder, which generates lead sheets displaying color-coded variances between the binder data and the software’s calculations. Once the data is edited and finalized, it takes one click to export it back to Lacerte.
