Melissa is a Lead Editor with Thomson Reuters. She is responsible for authoring and updating tax related continuing professional education courses for CPAs available on Checkpoint Learning, as well as creating and maintaining professional development learning plans. Melissa earned a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University and continued her accounting and business education at the University of Texas at Tyler. Before joining Thomson Reuters, her experience included tax, industry, nonprofit, and public accounting. Melissa has been with Thomson Reuters since 2006 and is licensed in the State of Texas.
