BubblesAs early as December 1, 2013 the Revenue Laws Committee in North Carolina will cast their vote on a draft bill set to end the sales tax exemption for live entertainment, movies and amusement tickets. This will leave admission tickets to several attractions subject to the 4.75 percent state sales tax. Elementary, middle and high schools who hold events will still be exempt. All volunteer nonprofits who meet a specific criteria will also be exempt.
