Lowering Kansas State Sales Tax on Groceries in the Works

A proposal to lower the sales tax on groceries from 6.3 percent to 4.9 percent in the state of Kansas is back in the House for review.  A similar plan presented last week by GOP Reps Mark Hutton and Gene Suellentrop was rejected.
