A South Dakota pro-tax group is gathering signatures to get its measure on the November 2012 ballot. The resolution to increase their sales tax by one-penny, about $90 million annually, to go towards K-12 public education and Medicaid, was passed unanimously by the Aberdeen school board. 16,000 signatures are required to get this on the ballot.
