In a Quick Alert for Tax Professionals, the IRS has announced the beginning of the 2022 filing season for Modernized e-File (MeF) business returns. The IRS will begin accepting all business tax returns at 9:00 a.m. ET on January 7, 2022.
The IRS has yet to announce the start of filing season for individual returns.
