May 1, 2019 – Thomson Reuters was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award at The 17th Annual American Business Awards®.

The recognition was received for a 2018 white paper, “Nexus Considerations in a Post-Wayfair World,” which assessed the impact on sales and use taxes of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2018 decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair. Judges’ comments on the paper included – “clean delivery of information” and “thorough, educational piece.”

“We are thrilled that the Stevie Awards recognized the quality of the state and local tax content we provide tax professionals every day on our Checkpoint tax research platform,” said Nancy Hawkins, Vice President – Editorial, Thomson Reuters Tax Professionals business. “The award-winning white paper was a great example of how our talented editorial staff understands the needs of our customers and provides answers and useful insights based on that understanding,” Hawkins continued.
