Thomson Reuters has announced the details of its 13th annual thought leadership event series titled “Partner Summit: Moving Your Practice Forward.” Over the past decade, Partner Summit has provided thousands of firm leaders with a unique opportunity to redefine their business model and service offerings and build deeper and lasting client relationships.

Thomson Reuters experts will share their knowledge and experience from years of helping firms redefine their business model, implement technology tools, and establish workflow best practices. Attendees will also gain insights on how to transform from a traditional firm focused on compliance services to a Breakthrough Firm that leads client engagements with advisory services through implementing four Business Functions: Product and Service Development, Sales and Marketing, Operations, and Firm Management. Practitioners that have successfully executed these concepts – including Paul Miller, Owner/Founder of Business by Design, Mark Martukovich, CPA and managing partner of FMA CPA, and Brittany Lanphier, CPA and managing partner of Lanphier, LLP – will also offer real world, tangible takeaways from their respective implementations and work with attendees to build their own transformation plan.

“Tax and accounting professionals are facing an increasing pace of disruption from regulatory changes, new technology and growing client expectations,” said Andrew W. McCracken, CPA, Director, Professional Services for the Tax & Accounting Professionals business of Thomson Reuters. “Partner Summit attendees leave with a transformation plan including steps they can implement immediately to diversify their practice and build a more progressive firm.”

Partner Summits are limited to 65 attendees per city, ensuring an interactive and engaging experience for each attendee. This year’s Partner Summit: Moving Your Practice Forward events offer the opportunity to earn up to 13 CPE credits.
