2018 Underutilized Tax Savings and Opportunities

Use tax credits and incentives like your peers

Each year, billions of dollars are offered through tax credits and incentives — yet, because of their complexity and frequently changing nature (particularly as a result of the recent Tax Cuts and Jobs Act), that money often ends up going unused.

Thomson Reuters recently conducted a survey to better understand how tax professionals are taking advantage of tax credits and incentives today. Of those surveyed, 93% of those who are utilizing tax credits and incentives report seeing a significant savings for their clients or business — often as much as $1M or more.
