Jon has more than 40 years of experience providing technology solutions for the accounting profession in both technology development and executive management. He joined Thomson Reuters in 1992 and, prior to his roll as director, was responsible for the design and development of many products and services. Every year he provides SYNERGY attendees with a detailed look at current tax and accounting development and where the profession is heading.
Immediate Past Chairman, AICPA; Global Accounting Strategy Leader, Oracle
Kimberly is the global accounting strategy director for the financial and professional services industries for Oracle America, a leader in cloud solutions and enterprise technology. She provides insight to help drive innovation in this important domain, particularly as disruption is enabled by technology to include cloud, software as a service, artificial intelligence, big data, and robotics process automation. Kimberly is also immediate past chairman of the Association of Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).
First American Women's Everest Expedition team captain
Alison served as team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition, climbed the Seven Summits, and skied to the North and South Poles. A history-making adventurer who also spent time in the business world, she has survived sub-zero temperatures, hurricane-force winds, and sudden avalanches — and that was while climbing the corporate ladder! She’ll share her throughts and experiances on leadership during her presentation, “On the Edge: The Art of High Impact Leadership.”

Friday Night Event
How do I register for the Special Friday Night Event?
Friday Night Event registration is part of the main SYNERGY registration. However, if you did not sign up when you first registered, or you pre-registered, you can add it in the Schedule section of the website, contact customer service, or stop by the registration desk during the first two days of the conference to purchase your tickets.
How much does the Friday night event cost?
We’re pleased to sponsor this optional evening event and offer you and your guests an unforgettable evening at a reduced rate. The cost is just $115 per adult and $75 per child, which includes transportation, dinner, and entertainment.
What time is the Friday night event?
Buses will leave the hotel at 7:30 p.m. We'll arrive back at the hotel around 11:30 p.m., but shuttles will run all evening just in case you're ready to leave early.
Do I need an I.D. to enter?
Yes. Please make sure to bring your I.D. — it is required for entrance.
How do I download the SYNERGY conference app?
You’ll receive an email with specific instructions for downloading the app in late October.
Can I bring a guest, spouse or children?
Attendees are welcome to bring guests. Guests may attend the Welcome Reception and Friday Night Event, but must register and purchase tickets in advance. (Guests cannot attend conference workshops, keynotes, roundtables, or meals.)
What is the recommended attire for the event?
The dress code for the event is business casual. We recommend you bring additional attire if you plan to explore the city. The Friday Night Event is casual.
What should I bring?
We recommend you bring what you would normally pack for a business trip. However, we encourage you to bring extra chargers for electronic devices, any printed materials you may want for workshops (SYNERGY is paper-free) and extra business cards.
